Red River Dog FarmOrigins
Our first liter was born along a canal in the beautiful Vermilion River. Nina our first PWD gave birth to our first litter. After keeping two from that litter, we realized this breed needed much more room to run and roam and explore. By the arrival of second litter we had found a perfect property to raise these beautiful, smart and very active pups, and Red River Dog Farm was born of an idea and a a dream. Janet set about securing the perimeter of these nearly 5 acres in Wakeman Ohio. That very cold January we hired an Amish crew recommended by a friend who grew up in Ohio's rich Amish Country.
